The Planted Parenting Team
Meet TrishTrish is our Director and Principal Occupational Therapist. She believes children should feel like they have a place, they are valued, they can contribute to this wonderful world we share, and that they belong. She is beyond passionate to see families have a more positive dynamic in their homes.
Tricia’s heart is for parents to feel equipped to navigate the day to day with their children. She is building a dream team of like minded Occupational Therapists and Therapy Assistants to partner with families, to do us out of a job. Families will be coached and supported to achieve their goals, to not be dependent on ongoing therapy. Fun and engagement are key to our therapy approach at Planted Parenting. We can’t wait to journey with your family. |
Meet MiskThe best things in life are worth the wait…and when Trish meets people she feels fits perfectly with the Planted Parenting vision, values and mission, they are a no brainer to invite to be part of our team of Incredibles.
Misk has years of paediatric experience, patience in spades, a warm and enticing approach to children and parents alike, and is ultra playful (not just in the therapy space, but also with us teamies!). From the minute she entered our rooms, she has made connections with each person genuinely, and it’s like she’s been one of us for years! We are super blessed to have her experience and wisdom on board. Tuesdays and Friday team days are when we get to see Misk in our consulting rooms. She's very busy with her own little lady at home other days. |
Meet AngeliqueIntroducing our Play and Education Specialist, and Lead Therapy Assistant, Angelique! As her Planted Parenting title implies, Angelique is the play guru. She’s a mum of 2 young boys, experienced primary teacher for over a decade, and is the beautiful face behind @heads_shoulders_knees (drop her a follow to be inspired by her play wisdom).
She brings compassion, wisdom, experience, and bags full of fun to the therapy space to support your child in their OT goals. Being a teacher too, she’s more than equipped to support handwriting challenges, and those tricky behaviours that can impact life at home and in the classroom. We feel seriously spoilt to have Angelique’s positive warmth, and experience adding to our dream team. |
Meet JordanI’m calling this champion our needle in the haystack, and here’s why…
Jordan is a man of humility, he will put his hand up for any job even if it’s mundane, and he genuinely likes helping people. When I found out he is studying Occupational Therapy and adores coaching footy, basketball and Kelly sports…he was a must have for our dream team. He is so kind, warm and authentic. This guy can happily play tea parties for hours or find the ‘just right challenge’ to build on skills a child struggles with. Jordan is lots of fun, respectful, and has bags full of initiative. Jordan enjoys connecting with our Planted Parenting families, and puts all his uni learning into practice under our Director and Principal Occupational Therapist’s close supervision. |
Meet Inge
We are thrilled to have this absolute treasure working with us as our Customer Service Coordinator and Therapy Assistant. Inge is a born leader, lover of cultivating community and relationships. She is an absolute dream with children and parents alike and has oodles of initiative. We are so appreciative that Inge is able to use her extreme organisation and liaison skills to help families onboard and book in sessions with our team members. Her compassionate ear is something that families get to experience when they first make contact with us to book sessions. Inge’s warmth and compassion and bubbly nature had us all smitten in her company right from the first second. She loves working with all our of our incredible families in her Customer Service Coordinator role, and apply her learning from her Occupational Therapy degree as a Therapy Assitant. |
Meet BrockBrock has a wonderful energy to pair well with our bouncy kids as well a sweet and calm side to match our more relaxed little friends. As a trained teacher who still works doing CRT his skill set is so valuable to us at Planted Parenting. Brock is in his final year of university, retraining to be an Osteopath. He has a wonderful knowledge of the human body which means he is wonderful with all gross and fine motor skill development for our clients.
From handwriting to games to strengthening little and big muscle groups…this amazing guy will be an incredible addition to your therapy team for your child. Who doesn't love a good joke and an incredible warm and friendly human? Look no further than our Brock. |
