Planted Parenting is an Occupational Therapy clinic that has been operating in the Inner North-East of Melbourne for 2 years.
We are a rapidly growing organisation, with a team of Therapy Assistants working within a network of schools, preschools, homes and our consulting rooms in Rosanna.
We are passionate about parents and children understanding their place, understanding their contribution, understanding their value, and understanding they belong. We love to make therapy meaningful, engaging and fun! Tailoring therapy input for each individual family is essential. The Role
We are looking for a confident and enthusiastic therapist to work with a paediatric caseload (2-18 years old) with a range of mild learning difficulties, developmental delay, disabilities, and conditions. One area of key focus is the parent support and coaching model to support positive dynamics within the home. Planted Parenting specialises in assisting children and their families perform to the best of their ability within their different environments.
This role includes:
· Intervention within preschools, schools, homes, and our consulting rooms in Rosanna
· Individual and group intervention
· Contribute to development of group programs
· Outstanding professional development opportunities and support provided
· Training and mentoring
· Emphasis on evidence-based practice for intervention
· Fun, dynamic, and energetic team
· A competitive salary and other benefits
We are looking for someone who has:
· Occupational Therapy degree
· Registration with AHPRA
· Professional Indemnity Insurance
· An ability to work well with children, families, teachers and other allied health professionals
· Experience working within a paediatric occupational therapy setting desired
· A fun, playful approach to working with children and their families
· Confident oral and written communication skills for teacher and parent reports
· Organisational, time management and computer skills
· Own car and current drivers’ licence (this position will include preschool, school and home visits)

Wage above award (Health Professional and Support Services Award 2020), dependant on experience.
